If you require comprehensive first class travel insurance for a period upto 18 months, and you will be undertaking veterinary work while away then please complete the quote form below. This cover is offered at a discount exclusively to members of the Worldwide Veterinary Service. You may be contacted to confirm your membership number after purchase.

Please note that the insurance will not cover you for any liability that arises from you undertaking the tasks of a vet or claims relating to section b7 (personal accident). Maximum age to which we can offer cover is 79 yrs. We cannot provide cover for those domiciled outside of the UK. If interested in flight only or shorter term, please contact us.

Please ensure you read details regarding pre-existing medical conditions before purchasing cover. You will need to contact the screening line if you or anyone you are travelling with has ever had treatment for:

  • Any heart or circulatory condition.
  • A stroke or high blood pressure.
  • A breathing condition (including asthma).
  • Any type of cancer.
  • Any type of diabetes.

You would also need to contact the screening line if, within the last 2 years, you or anyone you are travelling with has been treated for a serious or re-occurring medical condition, asked to take regular prescribed medication, or referred to a specialist consultant at a hospital for test, diagnosis or treatment.

Please also contact the medical screening line if you are waiting for tests or treatment of any description or if your regular prescribed medication has been altered in the last three months.

Cover can only be provided to travellers who are currently resident within the UK and who have been resident and actually within the UK for at least 6 months out of the last 12 months. Also, cover can only be provided for trips starting and ending in the UK.
